Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is therapeutic deep tissue work that treats specific health issues, such as musculoskeletal problems and injuries. It provides a wonderful relaxation if you are stressed and soothes sore, tired muscles.
Remedial massage facilitates a change using the manipulation of soft tissue structures promoting the healing process.
Remedial means intention to correct or improve.
Remedial massage focuses on treating soft tissue problems by palpating to find the muscular tension and then releasing it by using different methods of soft tissue manipulation.
When soft tissue is impaired remedial massage is used as a healing treatment that can be moderate or strong, deep or superficial.
Massage is applied on the skin using oil, which ensures that the damaged muscles are deeply penetrated. Passive stretching may also be used.
